    Stephanie specialises in insurance litigation and personal injury with a particular focus on operational efficiencies and motor claims management. Stephanie has 20 years’ experience advising clients across a range of insurance disciplines including Motor and Casualty (EL/PL). Since qualification in 2008 Stephanie has particularly focused on the Motor arena, in particular around delivering focused client solutions for emerging trends.

    Stephanie leads the operational management of a motor team. Stephanie also sits within the core client relationship team for several large insurers, conducting regular review meetings and sharing knowledge to aid the development of their claims handling functions. Stephanie holds a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and also works internally and externally with insurers and customers to drive Operation Excellence, removing waste, improving processes and driving data driven decisions.

    Stephanie is involved in the technical development of members of the Motor Injury Team and is regularly involved in developing and implementing strategies, advice and training both with clients and within DAC Beachcroft.

    Stephanie has focused on MOJ strategies for the protocol for Low Value RTA claims. In particular, Stephanie has focused on developing a strategies for identifying incubated claims abusing the process of the Low Value Protocol, Paragraph 7.8B claims with the claim of Mason v Laing and assisting insurers to manage this claims and implement appropriate reserves and strategies.

    In recent times, Stephanie is also leading on the Whiplash reforms for Motor, having developed the Whiplash reforms Microsite to support our clients. Again considering key behaviours in the industry and focusing on emerging trends and strategies to manage these claims.

    Relevant experience includes:

    • Developing and implementing processes promoting proactive case management to reduce cycle times and control indemnity spend.
    • Attending client surgeries and delivering training to assist in delivering upon their business objectives.
    • Advising upon the design and construction of a technical framework promoting the development of DAC Beachcroft lawyers and client claims handlers through value added support services.
