Sinead Egan

Sinéad is an employment lawyer in our Dublin office. She specialises in all aspects of non-contentious and contentious employment law. Sinéad regularly advises employers in respect of the issues arising in the employment relationship, such as recruitment, dismissals and redundancies, industrial relations, grievance and disciplinary procedures, health and safety issues, discrimination, service agreements and employee handbooks. She is also experienced in drafting and advising on employment contracts and employment policies and procedures. Sinead also has experience in advising on employee matters arising out of commercial transactions including under the TUPE Regulations.   She also advises on employee data protection issues.

Sinéad has acted for employees and employers before the Workplace Relations Commission in employment law disputes regarding a variety of issues including dismissals, discrimination, payment of wages claims and working time claims.  Sinéad acts for employers in High Court psychiatric injury claims arising out of the employment relationship, including from alleged bullying and harassment.

Sinéad qualified in 2014 and joined DAC Beachcroft in 2017.
