Sheryl Gearing qualified in 1997 and joined Beachcroft Wansbroughs in 1999 from a national Defendant personal injury practice, Berrymans Lace Mawer.
Sheryl deals exclusively with clinical negligence claims for the NHS Litigation Authority and the MDU. Her case load is comprised of catastrophic injury work relating to birth injury, acquired brain damage and significant trauma or infection.
In addition, Sheryl has dealt with ophthalmic cases, dental cases and delayed diagnosis of cancer.
She has lectured both internally and externally on a wide range of legal issues, including the Human Rights Act, secondary victim claims, Fatal Accident Act, anaesthetics claims and consent issues.
