Sarah Coutts has a wide range of experience in contentious insurance matters. Her areas of expertise include professional indemnity, in which she has dealt with negligence claims against a wide range of professional clients including accountants, brokers, directors, financial advisors, trustees, solicitors and barristers.
She has also acted on particularly large commercial litigation, D&O and financial institution claims, and frequently advises insurers on policy coverage issues.
Sarah has experience in commercial litigation, mediation, and national and international arbitrations. She has previously acted for insurers in the Technology & Construction Court and has more recently assisted in the defence of a high value, multi-party professional negligence claim in the Chancery Division. Sarah has also assisted on a successful multi-party jurisdictional challenge.
Sarah qualified in 2010 and has been an Associate at DAC Beachcroft since 2015.
