Michelle Walton

Michelle is a Barrister in our specialist advocacy service, 8 DAC Beachcroft Buildings (8DB).

Michelle has experience covering all manner of civil litigation areas on both claimant and defendant sides, but specifically including high value PI and clinical negligence, costs, regulatory and reparations.

She has been appearing in the County Courts, High Court District Registries, the SCCO, the RCJ and the Supreme Court since 2013.

Michelle is adept at dealing with all manner of interim and final hearings, as well JSMs and mediations, the latter being complemented by the fact she is an accredited mediator.

She is also experienced in dealing with inquests, including Article 2 inquests and where there is the potential for a Reg 28 report. She is adept at dealing with pre-inquest conferences and attending PIRs.

Michelle is also an experienced trainer, regularly providing in-house training, external training to clients, and for platforms such as MBL on a wide variety of topics.

She also regularly produces written articles on topical issues, having been published in Litigation Funding, PI Focus, Lexis Nexis, Thomson Reuters and the ACL Magazine.

In addition, Michelle has the following professional memberships:

• Personal Injury Bar Association.
