Michael is a corporate and finance lawyer based in our Bristol office.
Michael advises public and private companies and public sector bodies on a broad range of corporate transactions, financing arrangements, commercial contracts and corporate governance issues.
He has also gained wide transactional experience advising banks and other financial institutions, and borrowers on a variety of finance matters, including development and acquisition finance and structured finance arrangements.

Metinvest on the UK aspects of its £350 million acquisition of Spartan Steel and Trametal;
Fidelity International on its £20m divestment of Mutual Fund Technologies Limited to Australian listed company, Bravura Solutions;
Fabian Romania Limited, an AIM-listed Romanian property investor incorporated in Jersey, on a £48 million recommended takeover bid for the company;
Developer Deeley Freed Estates on the establishment of a £100m property fund and £8.5m financing with Development Securities;
St. James's Place on the acquisition of its cornerstone international wealth management business in Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai;
St. James's Place on the acquisition of the Rowan Dartington Group;
The Inteq consortium (a 50:50 joint venture between project developer John Laing and services and maintenance group Interserve) on a £690 million project to provide the MOD with a state of the art communication centre and accommodation/office complex in Corsham, Wiltshire;
The management of financial services group CapQuest on the £158m sale of the group to Arrow Global;
On numerous transactions in the renewable energy sector, including the acquisition and financing of solar and onshore wind projects throughout the UK.
