Lynda handles contentious and non-contentious work for both public and private sector clients.
Lynda advises and represents employers in complex claims in the Employment Tribunal and the Employment Appeal Tribunal, including claims relating to all types of discrimination, whistleblowing, constructive dismissal and unfair dismissal, breach of contract, TUPE transfers and failure to inform and consult trade union/employee representatives.
In addition to Employment Tribunal claims, she advises on a variety of non-contentious matters including issues relating to senior executives, directors and consultant doctors. She is a member of our specialist Doctors and Dentist Unit, and advises NHS organisations on the complex and challenging employment issues relating to doctors and dentists, including dealing with performance and clinical concerns under Maintaining High Professional Standards in the Modern NHS. She also advises on employee relations issues, including recognition agreements and time off for trade union duties and activities.
Lynda also regularly delivers training and seminars to a variety of clients on a range of employment law issues, including, in particular, on consultant doctor disciplinary and capability matters.
