    Lucy is an advocate in our specialist advocacy service, 8 DAC Beachcroft Buildings (8DB).

    Lucy specialises in small claims hearings, interlocutory matters and credit hire.

    She has experience representing clients in various county court matters in; debt recovery, housing, property, personal injury, alongside other areas of civil law.

    Relevant experience includes:

    • Before Joining 8DB, Lucy was a self-employed County Court Advocate. Within this role, she undertook various preliminary and interlocutory hearings. Lucy has conducted hundreds of hearings, with her main focus on applications and possession matters.
    • Lucy has also previously managed a team within a contact centre at a claims management company. Her work here focused on assessing the potential value of medical negligence and personal injury claims.

    Awards/rankings

    • Lucy has been recognised by Middle Temple as an Outstanding Candidate, having been awarded the Queen Mother Scholarship and Blackstone Exhibition award to commence the BPC.
    • She is also a recipient of the Access to the Bar award. This is the Inn of Court’s work experience programme to aid social mobility, and she was one of 30 candidates to receive this award.
    • Further, Lucy was awarded the Rice Jones Scholarship in response to her essay submission on the challenges facing the Legal profession following COVID-19.
