Leah is a paralegal within the Motor Prosecution team in the North of England which is part of a specialist national team of lawyers providing criminal representation.
Leah is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives having achieved completion of the Professional Diploma in Law and Practice. She is now in the final stages of her academic training to become a Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer.
Leah represents clients detained in police custody and voluntary attendees at Police Stations throughout Yorkshire and beyond. She has over 10 years' experience in the litigation and preparation of Magistrates' Court and Crown Court cases, dealing with all cases ranging from Exceptional Hardship applications through to serious indictable only matters involving charges of Causing Death by Careless Driving and Death by Dangerous Driving. She has an enviable track record of acquittals due to her fastidious approach to her work.

Represented defendant charged with manslaughter where the client had acted in self-defence when he believed he was under attack. The client was acquitted after forensic analysis of CCTV footage showed the complainant had initiated an assault.
