Kirsty Cassidy qualified in August 2007 and joined the legacy firm Andersons at that time. She has extensive experience of all personal injury litigation including motor, employer's liability and public liability both in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session.
She specialises in defender casualty disease work including asbestos, NIHL, HAVS and stress at work with specific emphasis on high value lung cancer and mesothelioma claims. She regularly handles Court of Session actions on behalf of several insurers and large corporate insured clients and provides advice to clients regarding their complex insurance history.
Kirsty is also responsible for the management and supervision of the disease team in Scotland. This role includes carrying out training both internally and externally as well as ensuring effective client strategies are in place.
