Wide experience in Civil and Commercial Litigation, especially in the field of arbitration, both domestic and international, acting as sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator and counsel of parties in arbitral proceedings. He frequently advises before Spanish Courts in corporate, construction, PI, competition and administrative disputes, having been involved in complex prejudicial negotiations and contracts with domestic and international scope.
Also, he has comprehensive experience in Public Law (administrations liability, challenge of general regulations, punitive regime, compulsory purchases, public tenders, planning development, exploitation concessions, grants, negotiations with authorities, etc).
Jorge is a regular lecturer in the Master in International Legal practice at the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE) and in the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid. He has taken part in seminars and courses in the Madrid and Valencia Bar Associations, the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá (Colombia) and further institutions.
He is member of the Madrid Bar Association as well as of the Spanish Arbitration Club.
