John Williams has special expertise in corporate finance, capital markets and private equity transactional work in a variety of contexts, but has a broad skill set having built a wide-ranging career in law (including in-house), private equity and business management.
He joined DAC Beachcroft in 2006 after working at Slaughter and May in Nigel Boardman’s market-leading corporate team, and in industry and private equity in various director and general counsel roles.
He now leads the Corporate Commercial and Insolvency team in Bristol, and is the Head of the firm's Business Advisory division and a member of its national executive.
John's main clients at DAC Beachcroft include Fidelity International (including Eight Roads), Octopus Investments, Spire Healthcare and Shore Capital, for each of whom he is DAC Beachcroft's client relationship partner.
He is heavily involved in advising financial institutions, health and social care businesses and technology companies on corporate matters. He has also substantial experience of law firm mergers and acquisitions, and related structuring around Alternative Business Structures.
