Ian advises and represents respondents in the Employment Tribunal and the Employment Appeal Tribunal. He is experienced in defending multi-day complex cases of whistleblowing and discrimination.
He also provides advice on a broad range of non-contentious employment law matters including all types of discrimination, dismissals, grievances, redundancy and complex reorganisations. He regularly delivers training seminars and workshops.
In addition, Ian acts for a large number of NHS organisations, advising them on issues arising out of Agenda for Change terms and conditions and other health-specific employment matters, including management of performance and clinical concerns of medical practitioners.
He also has considerable experience of providing contentious and non-contentious advice to clients in the commercial sector.
