Hannah joined the clinical risk team at DAC Beachcroft LLP in 2007, having already built up a wealth of experience in defendant clinical negligence litigation and non-contentious health advice. Hannah completed her training contract with the in-house legal team for the NHS in Wales, where she dealt with a range of work including clinical negligence claims, inquests, mental health advice, emergency treatment orders and general advice queries.
Post qualification, Hannah focused primarily on defendant clinical negligence, developing expertise in a number of aspects of this work, but most specifically, claims involving alleged negligent acquisition of MRSA and hospital acquired infection (HAI). She is highly regarded as a leader in this field.
Hannah also handles group actions and a range of high value cases including birth injury, head and spinal injury claims.
Hannah is a keen advocate and has her Higher Rights of Audience. She lectures at medico-legal seminars and conferences and has presented training to several Trusts and external bodies about HAI, clinical negligence claims and risk management.
