Graham Brothwood has a broad range of expertise in most commercial property matters but specialises in Land Options and Conditional Contracts primarily for commercial developments.
He has acted recently on the sale of land for Bristol and West Plc at Temple Quay, Bristol for a brand new office development (occupiers: Bond Pearce). He also led a Bristol/London team on the sale and leaseback of the new Bevan Brittan (90,000ft²) office building at King’s Orchard, Bristol for in excess of £30m to Oppenheims. He is also leading the development team in Bristol on a development to regenerate part of Worcester with a 116,000ft² food store with retail shops and residential (Clients: Carillion Richardson).
Graham has done numerous property transactions (sales, conditional contracts and landlord/tenant deals) for commercial owners/occupiers such as US-owned Tyco (the Electronics, Engineering and Healthcare divisions), GCAP Media Services Limited (the merged companies of GWR and Capital Radio), St James’s Place and Italian-based food packaging giants – Seda UK Limited. He also transacts on development finance work for Bristol & West.
