Glenn Ruddy

Glenn deals in all aspects of commercial property, acting for private property companies, consortiums, funds and high net worth individuals with his experience extending to commercial and residential development, including acquisitions, funding construction, lettings and disposals.

Glenn also advises lenders and borrowers on a wide range of real estate financing transactions, including investment and development facilities as well as refinancing and restructuring of existing facilities.

In addition, Glenn leads the Real Estate team's offering for South East Asian developers and investors, particularly from Malaysia and Singapore, investing into the UK real estate market.

Recent experience includes:

• Advising Amcorp Properties Berhad on a €70m joint venture with Grosvenor Europe governed by English Law.
• Acting for a healthcare business in connection with its acquisition of a competitor for £70m. Our role included carrying out a due diligence exercise on 27 facilities within the target group.
• Acting for a developer on its acquisition of a development site for a mixed use residential led scheme with a GDV of £65m. We dealt with joint venture arrangements relating to equity funding, debt funding, construction documentation and subsequent disposals and lettings.
