Caroline Cherry is an associate in the Professional Risks Department and has experience in dealing with claims against a wide variety of professionals including claims against solicitors, insurance brokers, estate agents, surveyors and construction professionals.
Caroline also has an expertise in advising on D&O, Trustee Indemnity and EPL related claims, regularly dealing with coverage disputes that arise out of the same.
She frequently advises on issues such as breach of warranty/non-disclosure, qualifying directors, capacity, allocation and advancement. Caroline has experience of a wide range of D&O claims, ranging from those against large financial institutions, to those against SME's and Right to Manage companies.
Caroline also works closely with the Employment lawyers in order to monitor coverage for EPL claims as matters progress. Caroline previously worked as a claims handler in the Beachcroft Specialist Claims Handling Team for over three years, where she also dealt with general professional indemnity claims.
