Brian joined DAC Beachcroft Dublin in February 2017 having worked in a specialist public and regulatory law firm and, prior to that, in the litigation department of one of Dublin's largest law firms.
Brian is a Public & Regulatory and Commercial Litigation lawyer in our Dublin office. He specialises in professional regulation and general dispute resolution with particular experience in statutory appeals and judicial review.
He has acted for a wide variety of statutory and public bodies in numerous judicial reviews, appeals on a point of law, statutory appeals and other applications before the High Court, seeking various statutory reliefs. He regularly appeared in the Court of Appeal (Civil), the Court of Appeal (Military) and the Supreme Court dealing with appeals from the High Court and Court Martial.
Brian has represented clients in general commercial litigation matters including contract disputes, property-based litigation and debt recovery. He has also acted in commercial court matters involving large-scale discovery and trial preparation;
Brian has also advised public bodies on corporate governance, guidelines and procedures, training and specialist project work.
Brian currently advises on a variety of commercial disputes relating to intellectual property, data protection, commercial contracts, property / title issues and professional negligence claims.
