Ben Pariser

Ben specialises in all aspects of real estate law, with a particular focus on development. Ben heads our Residential Development team in Bristol.

He has over 12 years’ experience advising clients across a range of sectors including residential, commercial and mixed use developments and strategic land. His clients include national PLC house builders, commercial developers & public authorities involved in development and urban regeneration.

Ben’s development project work includes collaboration, option and conditional acquisition agreements, together with the drafting and negotiation of multi-phase, multi-conditional development agreements, joint venture agreements, remediation conditions, overage provisions, land assembly, asset management, disposals and leases.

Relevant experience includes:

  • Working on behalf of a joint venture of national PLC house builders, negotiating conditional contracts and option agreements to assemble a 3,000 unit site and associated infrastructure.
  • Working on behalf of a national PLC house builder, advising on all aspects of their collaboration with another PLC developer in respect of a 400 unit site in the South West, including negotiating the collaboration agreement, acquisition contract, land transfers, overage and legal charges.
  • Working on behalf of a national PLC house builder, advising on their collaboration with another developer in respect of a suite of option agreements and the collaboration agreement itself, in relation to a 1,000 unit site and associated infrastructure.

Ben is recognised in the Legal Directories for his “significant experience of acting for mixed-use, residential and commercial developers” (Legal 500) and his “assertiveness and perspicacious intellect” (Legal 500).
