Anthea was educated at the University of Birmingham. She joined Beachcroft Wansbroughs in Bristol in 2001, where she completed her training contract. Anthea then joined the Clinical Risk Group in Winchester on qualification in 2003.
Since moving to the Winchester office, Anthea has specialised solely in clinical negligence claims involving health clients. Anthea undertakes work primarily for the NHS Litigation Authority and the Medical Defence Union as well as for NHS Trusts.
She is involved in a wide range of cases focusing, in particular, on significant value matters involving brain and spinal injuries. Anthea also deals with cases involving erbs palsy and dental negligence.
Anthea has given seminars both internally and to clients on a range of issues. She is also regularly invited as a guest lecturer to the medical law students at the University of Westminster.
