Annie Hawkins

Annie specialises in handling large loss and complex injury matters of significant complexity and value, where she is highly regarded in the Complex and Catastrophic arena. She assists Elisabeth Jones, Partner and Location Head on catastrophic injury claims in excess of £1 million.

Annie leads in a key Client Relationship Management role, acting as the point of contact for Complex work and as a trusted advisor, generating bespoke training and providing case handling.

Annie is a senior resource in the CSG Complex Injury Team, with over 13 years post qualification experience. Annie advises insurers, providing a bespoke strategy appropriate to the needs of the client and the case, resulting in significant savings for them.

Relevant experience includes:

• Assisting on two substantial cases handled by a Partner, where her role was instrumental in identifying and evidencing facts that resulted in savings of over £8.7 million combined.
• Advising a Claimant seeking damages in excess of £450,000 for injuries purporting to have caused alcoholism and loss of home and employment arising from an accident. This was settled for less than a 10^th of the claimed sum.

Annie also has a proven record in successful Mandatory Reconsiderations of CRU Certificates resulting in significant client savings.
