Anne has worked exclusively in personal injury litigation since she qualified in 1990.
Her caseload includes employers’ liability, public liability and road traffic litigation. She handles high value claims involving serious physical and/or psychological injuries and those cases which raise issues of especial sensitivity, for example, the risk of adverse publicity, and cases which may have public policy implications.
Anne is the Scottish Client Relationship Partner for two of our large insurance clients.
Anne qualified as a solicitor advocate in 2004.
Examples of cases Anne has been involved with include:
Providing advice to insurers and care home owners in relation to claims of historic child abuse;
Representing both individuals and employers in claims involving allegations of stress at work, harassment and discrimination;
Conducting a mediation in a contractual dispute and successfully mediating a £500,000 personal injury claim to conclusion.
