Andrew has spent over 25 years handling claims for the Insurance Industry. For the vast majority of that time he has dealt with claims for personal injury arising out of car accidents, accidents at work and claims made by members of the public.
His current caseload constitutes mainly brain injury, paraplegia, tetraplegia, other spinal injuries, severe multiple injuries and amputations.
He also has significant past experience of handling asbestos related lung disease, asthma, deafness, stress and psychiatric injuries. He has dealt with a number of significant product liability cases, and has broad experience of arson and other types of fraudulent claim.
Recent cases handled include:
Resolution of a claim made by a nightclub customer against the nightclub and the doorman. The customer sustained a significant brain injury. Andrew acted on behalf of the nightclub and made no damages payment. The claim was settled by the employers of the doorman;
Resolution of a claim by an employee who allegedly sustained a serious head injury developing non epileptic attack disorder. Claimant accepted a Part 36 offer made over 2 years earlier shortly before trial;
Settlement of an above knee amputee within 12 months of the accident;
Settlement of a tetraplegic case within 14 months of accident.
