Andrew Clough

Andrew specialises in construction and engineering dispute resolution and has more than 15 years’ of experience of supporting clients on contentious matters. He advises on a wide range of disputes concerning construction and heavy engineering projects.  He regularly on issues arising out of major manufacturing process plants, energy projects, commercial property developments, transport and rail infrastructure projects and a variety of public sector projects relating to education, healthcare and defence infrastructure.  

Andrew regularly advises on the major standard form contracts including IChemE, FIDIC, NEC3 and JCT contracts as well as bespoke terms. Typically, his work involves litigation in the UK Technology and Construction Court, adjudication as well as international and UK arbitration. He also advises on strategic dispute avoidance in major projects and representing parties in mediation.
