Amy Harris

Amy is part of our professional and commercial risks team and specialises in advising clients in relation to claims against professionals.

She has over 12 years’ experience in dealing with claims against a wide variety of professionals and specialises in claims against solicitors, surveyors and will writers. 

Amy also has an expertise in advising on coverage and defence strategies in respect of Directors' and Officers' insurance in the SME business area. In particular, charities, unincorporated associations and residents associations.

Relevant experience includes:

• Acting for one of the Major Defendants in the solicitors Right to Buy Lead Case Litigation.

In addition, Amy trained with the firm and prior to commencement of her training contract, she worked in the Legacy DAC Beachcroft Specialist Claims Handling Team for two years where she also managed a wide variety of professional indemnity claims.
