Alison Martin is a legal director in the firm's Bristol office with a wide experience of all aspects of procurement, including advising both public and private sector clients involved in PFI/PPP schemes.
By focusing on work in the healthcare sector, Alison has an in-depth understanding of the range of issues affecting the procurement of health services and offers practical solutions. She has particular expertise in long-term CHP projects and other energy sustainability projects. Alison advises a number of NHS Trusts on their operational PFI schemes and provides commercial advice on a range of issues, including primary and secondary care contracting, integration and partnering arrangements (including structures under 'New Models of Care', S.75 Agreements, etc.), and business transfer and outsourcing arrangements.
Alison also advises on a range of constitutional and governance issues for NHS Foundation Trusts and has assisted a large number of NHS Trusts achieve Foundation Trust status.
