International law firm DAC Beachcroft was presented with another top award last week, being named Insurance Law Firm of the Year at the National Insurance Awards.
Held in person at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane in London, over 200 guests attended the gala dinner and awards ceremony, which was hosted by Australian comedian Felicity Ward.
DACB was also jointly shortlisted with Automated Insurance Solutions (AIS) in the National Insurance Award’s InsurTech category. The shortlisting recognised DACB’s collaboration with AIS in developing the highly successful BAIL platform that helps the firm’s insurer clients quickly, accurately and consistently resolve liability in motor accidents.
Craig Dickson, CEO of DAC Beachcroft’s Claims Solutions Group, said, “We are delighted that the new and creative ways in which we are delivering innovative solutions to our insurance clients is being recognised. We’ve worked hard to drive innovation across the whole of our business, both in terms of designing innovative products for clients and introducing different ways to improve the firm’s own operational excellence.”
Most recently, the firm launched DACB CO/LAB, a web-based crowdsourcing platform where clients and internal DACB teams share ideas and collaborate to create bespoke solutions to clients’ challenges. Other investments include the launch of AIDan, a property triage tool for recovery claims; a new advocacy service known as 8 DAC Beachcroft Buildings; an online legal services platform for instructing counsel; and Workcentre, a second-generation electronic working platform that enables faster, more accurate transfer of client and matter data into the firm.
