International law firm DAC Beachcroft is delighted to announce that, for the third consecutive year, one of its lawyers is featured in the Hot 100, the annual survey by The Lawyer which reports on the ‘most daring, innovative and creative’ lawyers in the UK.
Charlotte Burnett is a partner in the firm’s health sector group, and she specialises in collaboration and integration within the NHS and between the NHS and independent providers. During 2020 she stepped up to help NHS clients manage the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, including supporting NHS England on the establishment of the Nightingale Hospitals and assisting with the roll out of the vaccination programme in primary medical care.
Her expertise and years of experience have been critical in helping the UK manage the pressures of this unprecedented pandemic. The Lawyer said “her work with dozens of healthcare trusts has ensured that the care of thousands of patients has not been compromised” and they described Charlotte as “a true COVID legal hero”.
Commenting on being named in the 2021 Hot 100, Charlotte said, “I am truly delighted to be included in the Hot 100 alongside such a respected list of lawyers.
“It is a real honour to be listed and to be working as part of the team at DACB, delivering excellence to our healthcare clients. I am privileged to be part of such an exceptional team and, at a time when our clients need us more than ever, the whole team is working extremely hard to support them and come up with new and innovative solutions to manage these unprecedented challenges. The successes we create for our clients and our business are very much down to a cumulative effort, not just an individual endeavour.”
In November 2020, DACB was named ‘Crisis Management Team of the Year’ at the British Legal Awards for its exceptional support to the NHS and other health sector clients during the COVID-19 pandemic. A number of partners and teams from across DACB have been working alongside the firm’s health sector clients, supporting them through this exceptionally challenging crisis.
DAC Beachcroft is the recognised leader in the provision of legal advice to the health and social care sector. The firm provides innovative and practical support to 300+ independent and public sector healthcare clients to deliver high-quality, safe patient care. As advisers to the health sector, and the NHS since its inception in 1948, the firm is recognised for quality insight and outstanding commitment to client service. DACB’s knowledge and quality advice is the aggregate of over 250 experts working across 11 locations in the UK, with access to 32 offices across the globe.
