International law firm DAC Beachcroft is pleased to announce it has been appointed for the first time to Sainsbury’s legal panel.
DACB is one of eight law firms to have been appointed for a term of three years, effective from September 2020.
“We are absolutely delighted to have secured a spot on this newly consolidated panel,” said Nathan Butcher, joint strategic relationship partner for Sainsbury’s along with Ben Daniels. “It is always an almighty challenge to win a place on a consolidated legal panel when you are a non-incumbent firm, but in the lead up to this appointment it became very apparent that we are well aligned with Sainsbury’s when it comes to our approach and our values. We are very much looking forward to building a long-lasting relationship with the legal community at Sainsbury’s and supporting them in delivering cost and service benefits to their business.”
Nick Grant, Director of Legal Services at Sainsbury’s said, “After a rigorous tender process I’m confident that we have selected a panel that will serve Sainsbury’s brilliantly in what remains a constantly changing and dynamic retail market.”
Sainsbury’s is the second largest chain of supermarkets in the UK, as well as a leading multi brand, multi-channel retailer, with a growing online and digital business. The business employs 172,000 colleagues who are integral to their success.
