The Law Society’s ‘Excellence in Business Development’ category aims to celebrate examples of initiatives that challenge convention and recognise the work that has contributed additional value to organisations.
With the video being highly commended, the judges commented that “DAC Beachcroft highlighted a clear need for their services, working with NHS Resolution to produce an advisory video to mitigate the risk of complaints, claims and associated costs. The judges were particularly impressed with the authoritative and empathetic nature of the content, and how useful it had become for their clients”.
The NHS is valued by patients for its quality of care and is considered to be one of the leading health and care services in the world. NHS Resolution works hard to provide expertise to the NHS, resolve claims fairly, share learning and improvement and improve safety across the NHS.
The video was created after a significant research phase, including discussion with consultants and junior doctors about gaps in training, and including the latest learnings from NHS Resolution. It brings together more than 90 years’ of consultant advice and has been widely adopted by NHS Trusts for training purposes across England.
