International law firm DAC Beachcroft has recorded a strong performance in the 2020 UK edition of leading legal directory Chambers & Partners, with more of its practice areas and lawyers awarded than last year.
These latest results are testament to another successful year for the firm, with a total of 62 practice areas ranked (up from 60 last year), and matching its 38 practice areas in the top two Bands.
In total, 98 of the firm’s colleagues have been named as "Ranked Lawyers" (up from 95 last year), while seven were noted as "Associates to watch". The following lawyers were awarded a new ranking in this year’s guide: Jonathon Deverill (Capital Markets: AIM UK-Wide), Mark Roach (Construction: Supplier – London), Colin Moore (Health & Safety - UK-wide), Liam O'Connell (Insurance: Contentious Claims & Reinsurance), Mathew Rutter (Insurance: Non-contentious), Karen Howe (Planning - South West), Beverley Atkinson (Professional Negligence – Scotland); Martin Paxton (Professional Negligence - North West); Charlotte Wilson (Real Estate: Mainly Mid-Market – London); Christopher Stoate (Restructuring/Insolvency - South West).
Senior Partner, Virginia Clegg, commented: "I am delighted that, once again, Chambers and Partners has recognised the hard work and talent among our teams and colleagues by ranking more of our practice areas and lawyers. The recognition is made all the more rewarding knowing that these rankings are not possible without the positive feedback Chambers receives direct from our clients. The rankings are a true reflection of our ongoing commitment to outstanding client service and a continued adherence to our strategy, which is focused on helping clients and colleagues succeed, creating sustainable value. Congratulations to all of those who have gained or retained their rankings this year.”
