DAC Beachcroft starts move to new global headquarters in the City of London

Published 15 March 2019

International law firm DAC Beachcroft has started the move into its new global headquarters at the Walbrook Building, 25 Walbrook, London EC4.

The firm’s move to the Walbrook Building underscores the importance it places on having a strong London hub, which supports a robust regional presence across the UK and an ever-expanding overseas network. Coming on the back of increasing demand for services and DAC Beachcroft’s strong financial performance in recent years, it also coincides with the firm’s newly launched rebrand, under which it has adopted a bold new visual identity.

“Our move into the Walbrook Building is truly a statement of our commitment and determination to deliver against the evolving needs of our clients,” said DAC Beachcroft’s Senior Partner Virginia Clegg. “As a broad-based commercial firm serving a wide range of sectors, and with our strong heritage in insurance, health and real estate, our new global headquarters delivers an environment that reflects our brand and our ambitions.”

Designed by Foster & Partners, the landmark Walbrook Building will house over 400 DAC Beachcroft lawyers and colleagues. With light-filled, open-plan space on a large floorplate, the building provides a variety of working areas and amenities, supported by the latest technology and extensive client facilities.

“This move represents the culmination of our real estate strategy for London,” continued Clegg, “bringing all of our colleagues in the City together under one roof for the first time.

“This is an important investment for the firm which will enable us to continue delivering high quality advice in sophisticated, customised and creative ways – one client at a time.”

Colleagues from across DAC Beachcroft’s London offices will complete the move to the Walbrook Building by the end of March.
