International law firm DAC Beachcroft is pleased to announce the appointment of residential property expert Duncan Fisher as a partner in its national Real Estate practice.
A highly-experienced residential specialist, Duncan joins from Womble Bond Dickinson. Based in the firm's Newcastle office, he will play a key role in the continued growth of DAC Beachcroft's market-leading UK residential development offering.
Duncan joined Womble Bond Dickinson in 1997 and has been a partner there for the last 15 years, leading its Residential Development team. With clients including Bellway, Persimmon and Taylor Wimpey, he has extensive experience of advising landowners, developers and regional and national housebuilders. He has also acted for development corporations and national bodies on regeneration projects.
He will work as part of DAC Beachcroft's Residential Development team, which comprises more than 70 lawyers acting for all 12 of the UK's leading housebuilders, as well as many emerging residential companies, with centres of excellence in Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester and Newcastle.
DAC Beachcroft's Head of Real Estate, Robert Lee, said: "We are very pleased to welcome Duncan to the firm.
