The Leeds Employment and Pensions team at international law firm DAC Beachcroft has won the Employment Law Award at the 2016 Yorkshire Legal Awards.
The team accepted its prize on behalf of the firm's 19-strong Employment practice in Leeds in front of the Yorkshire legal community at a celebratory evening event held at the city's New Dock Hall on 13 October. Judges at the ceremony said DAC Beachcroft's team "really stood out".
This growing team is part of DAC Beachcroft's national Employment and Pensions group, one of the largest of its kind in the UK. Led by Partner, Louise Bloomfield, the team has enjoyed a stellar year, winning several new assignments and adding to a multi-sector client list that includes Royal Mail, Arcadia, McDonald's, Zurich, Spire Healthcare and many of the NHS Trusts.
Michael Peeters, DAC Beachcroft's Regional Senior Partner in Leeds, said: "We are delighted for this seriously talented team. They work in a very competitive marketplace and this award both acknowledges their commitment to outstanding client service and all their hard work. It's a win for them, for the wider national EPG team and for our Leeds office."
This marks the latest accolade for DAC Beachcroft's national Employment and Pensions group during 2016. In March, the firm's Manchester team was named 'Employment Team of the Year' at the Manchester Legal Awards.
