International law firm DAC Beachcroft is pleased to announce an encouraging financial performance at the half-year (H1) stage for 2016/17.
Total revenue at 31 October stood at £102m, which represents growth of 1.2% on the same period last year. The unaudited H1 results were also characterised by ongoing margin improvements and continued progress in the management of the firm's working capital, resulting in a strong cash outcome. Commenting on the results, DAC Beachcroft Managing Partner, David Pollitt, said: "I am pleased with this good result at the half-year stage, which bears testament to the continuing hard work of all our people. We have managed to trade through some difficult market conditions in the first six months of this financial year, hitting the tough targets we set ourselves at the beginning of the year."
"Our immediate strategy remains to focus on achieving operational excellence while our continued drive for improved profitability and a focus on good business discipline are also showing results."
He continued: "While there is much work still to be done, we have delivered an assured and encouraging financial performance against a backdrop of unpredictable political and economic times, which demonstrates DAC Beachcroft's commitment to delivering outstanding service and managing our business carefully."
"We have some key strategic initiatives that we anticipate will come to fruition in the coming months and we feel that our business remains well-placed to build further on these results."
