International law firm DAC Beachcroft has been appointed by leading UK housebuilder Bellway Homes as its sole adviser for construction legal matters across England, Scotland and Wales.

The firm is already a market-leader in the residential development sector with offices across the country, enabling it to provide Bellway's various divisions with a high-quality, seamless service.Bellway currently operates from 17 divisional locations, having recently opened in Kent and the southwest. These new divisions further enhance Bellway’s capacity to deliver new homes in areas of high demand.Construction Partner, James Harrison, leads the team for DAC Beachcroft. Commenting on the appointment, he said: "We are delighted that Bellway has placed its trust in us to handle all the company's construction legal work. We have enjoyed acting for Bellway's Southern region over the last 12 months and are grateful for the opportunity to continue to build on the strong foundations we've created there to expand our reach across the country. It is a pleasure to work with them."Simon Scougall, Group Commercial Director at Bellway, commented: "James and his team at DAC Beachcroft have a solid and proven track record with Bellway. They have demonstrated they have what it takes to provide us with the advice we need, when we need it. We are delighted to retain them as our Group construction advisers."
