Handling professional liability claims based on the collective policy of Lawyers and Auditors, advising on the coverage to the insurers and legal defence in the proceedings rose against the members of the Bar.
Advising both Spanish and International Insurers in claims brought against accountants and tax advisors for the damages caused as a result of the incorrect advice provided to their clients.
Handling of claims against lawyers and auditors under their PI policies underwritten with their respective Professional Associations. Services include the processing of claims, legal defence and advisory on the responsibility, coverage and reserves.
Advising on the coverage and defence of insurers in connection with two professional liability policies of two of the parties implicated in the claim following the extension works on the Barcelona subway line (Carmel).
Acting for the civil liability insurers of a building company regarding the rupture of a tailings pond, whose breakage caused the worst environmental disaster in Europe, after the nuclear plant at Chernobyl. The claim, valued at 250M€, was successfully defended in the three instances.
