Energy

• Defending an insurance company and their Insured, a supply company, in a civil liability claim for damages suffered as a result of a power outage in Barcelona.
  
  
• Advising and defending a civil liability insurance company in a lawsuit for damages caused by an industrial chain presumably defective (which held the system of oil extraction from an offshore oil station platform located in the Gulf of Mexico) supplied by the Insured. There are proceedings currently in progress in the United States and Spain.
  
  
• Defending a gas supply company in a lawsuit filed by the injured parties in a gas explosion, in which a multimillion-dollar compensation was requested for damages and materials.
  
  
• Defending a civil liability Insurer in the civil procedure filed by the Insured in relation to the costs incurred in the design and construction of a gas and oil extraction plant in the North Sea.
  
  
• Advising and defending an electricity supply business group and their Insurer of a civil liability in relation to a large number of forest fires produced in Chile in 2017.
  
  
• Defending an electrical distribution company and their civil liability Insurer in a criminal proceeding (and subsequent civil proceedings) for damages caused by a forest fire in Andalusia.

Construction and Engineering 

• Advising under a CAR/EAR policy and defending an Insurer in an arbitration initiated by one of the Insured for material damages and ALOP suffered during the construction of a power plant as a result of an earthquake that occurred in the south of Chile in 2010.
  
  
• Advising under a CAR/EAR policy in relation to the material damage caused to a power production plant in Colombia and DSU, as a result of an attack by FARC.
  
  
• Advising under a CAR policy, the collapse of a bridge in Andorra during its construction. Analysis and initiation of the actions of subsequent recovery against the agents that participated in the work.
  
  
• Advising on coverage under professional civil liability policies in the activities of industrial nature, construction and engineering.
  
  
• Defending a company responsible for performing a technical due diligence on the defects of a shopping centre.
  
  
• Defending the planner and the civil liability Insurance company about claims received as a result of alleged defects of the Botín Centre in Santander, and the extra costs incurred in its construction.
  
  
• Advising a construction company under a liability policy regarding the damages caused by the works of expansion of a logistics centre in Toledo. Significant fire damages were produced.

Environment

• Defending a Liability Insurance Company in a criminal proceeding following the alleged contamination caused by a fire of an industrial plant.
  
  
• Defending a Liability Insurance Company in an instituted civil procedure by the Insured for damages caused to the environment regarding the operation of metal waste from a treatment plant in Sweden. A PB claim also occurred as a result of the plant closing.
  
  
• Defending a Liability Insurance Company and their Insured in a contamination-related criminal proceeding of a river and its adjacent lands as a result of a transfer of oils in its facilities.
  
  
• Defending an electrical distribution company and their Civil Liability Insurance Company for the environmental damage supposedly caused by a fire originating in the power lines of the Insured.
