Our Singapore office was established in 2011 and specialises in providing advice on complex, high-value and international risks across all non-marine lines of business and on all aspects of reinsurance.  We also advise on insurance policy wordings, global programmes and coverage disputes, and provide support to other parts of the firm in relation to matters with an Asian dimension.

In 2023 DACB formed an association with Incisive Law, an independent Singapore law practice. Incisive Law offers the full spectrum of legal services to local Singapore and multinational businesses across sectors including shipping, trade and commodities, energy and infrastructure, financial services, aviation, technology, media and telecommunications, and many others. 

Our team have comprehensive experience in advising on insurance and reinsurance claims and disputes arising from risks in the South Asia, Asia-Pacific and Australasia regions. We have extensive knowledge of the markets in which we operate and focus on producing commercial solutions to facilitate our clients' own business strategies.

We offer a broad claims advisory and resolution service, including mediation, arbitration and litigation services in the UK, internationally and in multi-jurisdictional cases.

Singapore has emerged as the real market for Asian insurance business, and while there continues to be a considerable amount of Asian business underwritten or managed in London, the local Asian insurance market is growing rapidly.
