In this webinar, our panel of expert speakers will explain what biodiversity net gain is, how biodiversity net gain works in practice, how you can achieve and secure the gain, and what opportunities biodiversity net gain can achieve.

Our panel speakers on the day will be:
  • Anne Harrison, Legal Director (Barrister) in the DAC Beachcroft Planning, Environment and Development team. Anne has over 20 years’ experience of advising on environmental and planning law issues including biodiversity and wildlife conservation, Habitats Regulation/Appropriate Assessments and Environmental Impact Assessments for residential and commercial developments.
  • Ben Kite, Managing Director at Ecological Planning & Research Ltd. Ben is a Chartered Ecologist and environmental planner with particular expertise in Habitats Regulations/ Appropriate Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessment, Strategic Environmental Assessment and Sustainability Appraisal.
  • Eleanor Trenfield, Director at landscape architecture consultancy ETLA. Eleanor is a chartered landscape architect with particular expertise in landscape planning. She brings a wealth of experience across projects in both rural and urban environments, and experience of working collaboratively to incorporate biodiversity net gain requirements into landscape masterplanning, particularly on strategic sites.
The event will be facilitated by Christopher Stanwell, Head of Planning at DAC Beachcroft.
