The European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on 25 May 2016.  A rewrite of European data protection law, the GDPR imposes comprehensive and far reaching obligations.  With enforcement after two years, companies need to be compliant by 25 May 2018.

This collection includes a general overview of the impact DAC Beachcroft expects the GDPR to have as well as a specific look at the impact on the insurance industry and the financial services industry.
