The British Property Federation has produced a document to codify CVA best practice with a view to giving guidance to insolvency practitioners on key items landlords will look for in a CVA proposal.
The document is available on the BPF's website and can be found here.
There is already an informal protocol whereby many nominees will consult with the BPF in advance of a proposal being circulated. The BPF is keen to be consulted in all cases where landlords are significant creditors and the document provides some guidance on the procedure to follow and matters that should be considered in a proposal.
Please do not hesitate to contact one of our national Corporate Recovery & Insolvency team members should you have any questions on this or any other insolvency-related matter.
