Germany - Revised IT Security Bill

A revised bill on IT security (the Bill), the aim of which is to improve the protection offered against IT security risks, was read by in the German Bundestag on 20 March 2015.
The future of the Bill remains to be seen, particularly in the face of criticism that it is inconsistent with the German Constitution and the risks posed by varying regulations in the EU in the context of changes that are proposed under the Regulation.
