Last month we covered an interesting TUPE case, in which we acted, looking at when the duty to make reasonable adjustments for disabled employees, who are transferring, bites. This month we provide some more insight into what this means for employers and we also set out the employment law implications of the Queen's speech.
Another matter on our radar is publishing gender pay gap information. Employers with more than 250 employees will be required to publish this information by March 2016. Publication is likely to be quite simple, but answering questions about why any pay gap exists may well be harder. Using the time between now and March 2016 to establish what your gap is, and understand how you got there, should be on employers' action lists in the second half of this year.
