Catastrophic Injury Quarterly Review: Fourth Edition
Published 26 February 2014
Welcome to the fourth edition of our Catastrophic Injury Quarterly Review. With the Government still looking at the discount rate we look at some recent research into investment behaviour. We also take a look at three recent decisions on the Jackson reforms, including Mitchell. It is usually necessary to value multiple injuries in catastrophic injury cases and we look at the correct approach to this. Finally, we highlight some recent research which has implications for life expectation in spinal injury claims.
