Diversity and Inclusion
At DAC Beachcroft we strive for excellence in our fields of expertise which means not only providing a first-class service to our clients but also nurturing a workforce that reflects the diversity of the communities within which we live and work.
Being a truly diverse and inclusive organisation is not just about treating people equally – it's about creating a level playing field for people from all backgrounds and cultures.
We actively do more to support and encourage people to realise their potential in an environment where they feel included and creating a genuinely inclusive culture is at the forefront of what we look for in our leaders and role models across the business.
Our aim is to become a leader in Diversity and Inclusion for our people, our clients, our communities and the legal profession.
Our D&I principles
We value a culture which involves and includes people regardless of where they come from, how they speak or look, what disability they have, their age, gender, sexual orientation, the school or university they went to (or didn't).
We involve, hire and develop people on merit, not because they are like us.
We are continually educating ourselves, by asking for feedback and by monitoring our diversity statistics.
We encourage people to raise problems with us by publishing our policies and by taking a zero-tolerance approach to any form of harassment or discrimination.
Our Diversity & Inclusion Group is responsible to the Executive Board for setting and meeting objectives that drive D&I across our business. The group includes active involvement from our people in the work streams which flow from our objectives.
We are committed to reporting our diversity statistics and highlighting where there is still room for improvement and measuring our results against our objectives.
