This could include attending client meetings, participating in tenders and managing your own case loads. Managing client relationships is as valuable to us as your legal skills and we want trainees who can demonstrate real flair in client management.

What we are looking for?
We are not just looking for talented lawyers but people with commercial awareness of the markets we operate in, who can lead our business as they progress in their career with us.
Academic qualifications remain an important indicator for us, but this is not the whole story. We want you to demonstrate all of your skills, experience and attributes that make you a perfect fit for us. This is about showing your strengths and resilience and why we need you in our business.
We do require you to:
- Have completed or be in your final year of a qualifying Law degree or Graduate Diploma in Law;
- have gained or are expected to gain a 2:1 or a First degree; and
- have obtained 300 UCAS points (BBB grades) in your A Levels (taken from your top three A Level results and excluding General Studies), subject to any mitigating circumstances.
We know that our training contract will not be for everyone and equally we want people who will buy into our culture and our values. This means we need to see what you are really like and not what you think we are looking for so please remember to be true to yourself throughout the selection process.

Our vacation placements
Our vacation placement gives you the opportunity to come and see what DAC Beachcroft is all about and provide you with a clear idea of what life as a trainee is really like.
Join us on a vacation placement and you will be involved in a range of activities such as client meetings, social events and the opportunity to experience challenging work. Throughout your placement you will be surrounded by large and experienced teams, including a support network of trainees and supervisors. There will also be the opportunities to meet Regional Senior Partners and other Partners of the firm.
DAC Beachcroft runs a combined application process, with the vacation scheme forming part of the assessment process for training contract places.
How to apply
The application process for training contracts commencing in September 2019 will open from the 1st November 2017 until the 31st January 2018.
Successful applicants will be invited to a half day assessment centre to be selected for the vacation scheme during the week commencing 5th March 2018.
Candidates will also need to be available to attend one of our vacation schemes running in Bristol from the 3rd - 11th April 2018 inclusive and London and our Northern offices from the 9th April - 17th April 2018 inclusive.
