Nigel Montgomery

Admitted in 1985, Nigel acts on behalf of the NHSLA, NHS Trusts, PCT's and the MDU advising on all aspects of risk and claims. 

He has 15 years experience of handling clinical negligence claims across all areas including cerebral palsy, oncology, paediatrics and plastic surgery.  Advisory work includes strategic analysis and implementation of Trust policies, procedures and training in relation to clinical and health & safety risk.

Nigel is a regular author of articles to health and risk management publications and speaker at conferences on medico-legal issues. 

He leads a dedicated team in Bristol acting for healthcare providers in the public and private sectors and is head of the firm's public health and  independent health sectors. 

Nigel is a member of the Law Society's Clinical Negligence Reference Group.
