Since qualification, Louise has advised private sector clients ranging from global manufacturers to household name retailers. Notably, Louise has spent a significant amount of time in her career on secondment with the in-house legal team at Asda, and also more recently at Royal Mail Group where she advised upon and managed strategic projects, complex employment issues, collective consultation exercises, and industrial relations matters.
Louise leads the private sector work within the DAC Beachcroft Leeds employment team, and also leads a specialist EPL insurance team who manage a wide variety of tribunal claims for insured organisations.
Louise regularly delivers training and seminars to a variety of organisations, including visiting the USA to train a US HR team on UK employment law. She is also an active member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association having been elected North East Representative in 2009, and she sits on both the national Management and Training Committees.
