Khurram joined the employment and pensions group as a partner in 2010.
Khurram's practice covers all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law. His experience is predominantly in the financial services sector, having been instructed by leading investment and commercial banks and fund managers. He has particular expertise in high-value discrimination claims and he has led key litigation involving sensitive issues relating to equal pay, sex, race and sexual orientation discrimination. In addition, he has recently given strategic advice on approaches to collective consultation and the changes to the dispute resolution regime, and also led multi-jurisdictional outsourcing and integration exercises.
Khurram is also an expert on data privacy and human rights issues arising in the employment context, and he is a regular speaker at presentations and training events on background vetting, data transfers and the practical approach to responding to data subject access requests.
